The high elevation of Obertauern (1800m to 2200m) guarantees skiing enjoyment and boarder bliss from  mid November until the beginning of May. Modern and comfortable lifts are your gateway to Obertauern's sunny ski bowl, which awaits with easy, intermediate and expert hills sure to appeal to even those with the most demanding of tastes, as well as your whole family.

 In the midst of Salzburg's fantastic alpine world, you will be greeted by around 100 km of magical slopes. And you won't even need a car, since here in Obertauern the slopes are literally right outside your front door, putting you in the middle of the ski area itself.

Obertauern greets you with 26 cable cars and lifts located around the town and a unique array of ski slopes - the red-and-green hills that make up the "Tauernrunde". 61 km of easy, 35 km of intermediate and 4 km of expert slopes are all just waiting to be discovered by you.

Great snow conditions from the end of November until the beginning of May are guaranteed to take you to "new heights".
